Coordinated for SELAVI, the first Diner en Blanc at Lincoln Center in New York City August 24, 2012. Over 3000 guests attended this event.

Founded by François Pasquier in 1988, the concept of Dîner en Blanc came from his want to reconnect with friends after a few years spent abroad. This concept has grown exponentially, and now around the world diners are given the location of this flash mob picnic last minute, and can only come dressed in white. Over the course of the evening, thousands of people conduct themselves with elegance and etiquette, meeting for many have called a “chic picnic” in a public space.

Le Dîner en Blanc has been hosted on many famous sites in the past years, including its native city, Paris’ Pont des Arts, the Eiffel Tower Garden, and the Louvre Pyramid.
